When you choose Full-Service from Audio Hire, we take care of much more than supplying the equipment. We can plan the sound requirements for your event, deliver the equipment to the venue, professionally set everything up and test the system before your event begins. Where the event requires it, we can also provide an experienced sound technician to operate and manage the system throughout the programme. When everything is finished, we pack down our equipment and take it away.

For many customers, Full-Service is simply the easiest way to organise event sound. Instead of collecting speakers, transporting heavy equipment, working out how everything connects and worrying about whether the system has been set up correctly, you can leave the technical side of the event to us. We Take Care of the Sound

Good event sound is about much more than putting some speakers in a room. The system needs to suit the venue, the number of guests, the programme and the way the space will actually be used. Speakers need to be positioned properly, microphones need to be tested, cables need to be run safely and the system needs to be configured so speech, music and performances can be heard clearly throughout the event.

With Full-Service, Audio Hire takes responsibility for that process. We determine what equipment is appropriate, bring it to the venue and prepare the system so it is ready when you need it. Depending on the event, that can include speakers, subwoofers, microphones, mixers and the connections required for DJs, presentations, performers and other audio sources.

The result is a much simpler experience for the organiser. You are not hiring a collection of equipment and then being left to work everything out yourself. Audio Hire takes care of the technical preparation so you can concentrate on running the event.

Professional Setup Makes a Difference

Even a relatively simple sound system performs better when it is set up properly. Speaker placement affects how evenly the room is covered, microphone settings affect how clearly people can be heard and a system that has been fully tested before guests arrive is far less likely to cause problems once the event is underway.

Audio Hire will position and connect the equipment, configure the system and test the important signal paths before the event begins. If there is a DJ, we can prepare the PA and make sure there is an appropriate connection for their equipment. If there are speeches or presentations, we can prepare and test the microphones and playback sources before they are needed. If performers are involved, we can work through their requirements and make sure the necessary audio equipment is ready.

At the end of the event, we return to dismantle and remove our equipment. You are not left carrying speakers, coiling cables or trying to pack down a sound system late at night after everyone else has gone home.

The Right Level of Support for Your Event

Full-Service does not mean forcing every customer into the same package. Some events simply need Audio Hire to deliver, professionally set up and test the system before handing it over to a competent DJ or operator. Other events require a technician to remain on site and actively manage the sound throughout the programme.

A straightforward party with a DJ may only require a professionally installed PA system that is ready when the DJ arrives. A wedding with several speeches, different entertainment and changing requirements throughout the day may need more support. A conference with multiple presenters, wireless microphones and presentation audio may benefit from a technician managing the system throughout the event. Live performances generally require a higher level of technical planning, soundcheck and active operation.

Rather than asking you to determine all of this yourself, we assess the event and recommend the level of service that makes sense. You tell us what is happening and we take care of translating that into the equipment, setup and technical support required.

Weddings, Parties and Private Events

When you are organising a wedding, birthday, engagement or private celebration, there are already plenty of things competing for your attention. Sound equipment should not become another job that has to be squeezed into the day.

Audio Hire can bring the system to your venue, prepare it before your guests need it and remove it again afterwards. Depending on the event, the system might need to accommodate background music, speeches, a DJ, live entertainment or several different uses throughout the day or evening. Rather than treating each of those requirements as a separate equipment hire, we can look at the event as a whole and design the sound setup around the programme.

For weddings in particular, sound requirements can change several times during the event. There may be microphones and music for one part of the day, speeches later on and a DJ or other entertainment in the evening. A presenter who cannot be heard, a microphone that is too quiet or a system that needs to be reconfigured while the programme is already underway can quickly distract from an otherwise professional event.

For corporate functions, conferences and presentations, Audio Hire can provide both the sound system and the technical support required to make the programme run smoothly. We can prepare microphones for presenters, connect presentation audio and music sources, test the system before guests arrive and provide a technician when the event requires active management.

For more involved programmes, having someone on site who is responsible for the sound means microphone levels, playback and changes between presenters can be handled as they happen. The organiser, presenters and venue staff can concentrate on their own roles rather than trying to manage the sound system at the same time.

DJs, Performers and Live Entertainment

A DJ may already have their own controller, mixer and music source but still require a professional PA system. Audio Hire can provide, deliver and install the sound system while the DJ brings the equipment they use to perform. We can prepare and test the PA before the event, establish the appropriate connection for the DJ's equipment and take care of pack-down afterwards.

Live performers and more complex entertainment generally require additional planning. The appropriate solution depends on the performers, the venue, the audience and what equipment is already being supplied. Audio Hire can work from an artist's technical information or discuss the requirements with you before the event so the necessary microphones, connections, mixing and speaker system can be planned properly.

For events where sound quality, audience coverage and professional deployment are particularly important, Audio Hire can also provide professionally managed Meyer Sound systems as part of the event production. These systems are deployed and operated by Audio Hire rather than being supplied as conventional dry hire.

More Than Equipment Hire

Dry Hire is ideal when you already know what you need and are comfortable collecting, setting up and operating the equipment yourself. Delivery & Collection removes the transport, but the setup and operation remain your responsibility.

Full-Service is for customers who want Audio Hire to take responsibility for the sound side of the event.

That means less equipment to transport, less time spent setting up, less uncertainty about how everything should be connected and no pack-down at the end of the night. More importantly, it means your event sound is planned and prepared by people who work with the equipment and understand how it should be deployed.

For many events, that additional level of service is a relatively small part of the overall event budget, but it can make a substantial difference to how smoothly the event runs and how much work is left for the organiser.
