Wireless Lapel & Headset Microphone System Hire Adelaide – 2, 4 or 8 Mics
Wireless Lapel & Headset Microphone System Hire Adelaide
Need several presenters to speak without passing microphones around? Audio Hire’s multi-channel wireless microphone system provides up to eight simultaneous bodypack microphones in one compact, prewired rack.
Choose 2, 4 or 8 wireless microphones, with your choice of lapel or headset microphones for each presenter. The complete system is installed in a protective rack case with the wireless receiver and line mixer already connected internally, making setup considerably simpler than hiring several separate wireless systems and assembling them on site.
Simply position the rack, connect its audio output to your PA system and you are ready to work with multiple wireless microphones. If you do not already have a suitable PA, Audio Hire can also provide the complete PA system, speakers and technical support.
One System for Up to Eight Presenters
The system supports up to eight bodypack transmitters simultaneously, making it particularly useful for conferences, panel discussions, training sessions, presentations, theatre-style speaking applications and other events where several people need hands-free microphones.
Rather than supplying the wireless receiver as a standalone unit, Audio Hire has integrated it with a dedicated rack mixer. The receiver and mixer are installed together in a rack case and prewired before hire, so the customer does not need to build an eight-channel microphone system from separate components every time it is used.
Choose 2, 4 or 8 Wireless Microphones
Not every event needs eight microphones, so the system is available in three hire configurations.
The 2-microphone package is suitable where two presenters, interview participants or trainers need hands-free microphones. The 4-microphone package works well for small panels, presentations involving several speakers or training sessions. The 8-microphone package provides the complete system for larger panels, conferences, productions and events where several people need their own microphone at the same time.
All three packages use the same prewired rack system. You simply hire the number of bodypack microphones required for your programme.
Lapel or Headset Microphones
Each wireless bodypack can be supplied with either a lapel microphone or a headset microphone, and the microphone type can be selected according to how each person will use it.
Lapel microphones are discreet and work particularly well for presentations, interviews, corporate speaking and situations where minimal visible equipment is preferred. They clip to the presenter’s clothing and allow completely hands-free operation.
Headset microphones place the microphone closer to the speaker’s mouth, which can provide a more consistent vocal level when presenters move their head or walk around. They can be especially useful for training, demonstrations, performances and presenters who need reliable hands-free speech while moving.
You can mix the two styles within the same hire. For example, a four-person booking could use two lapel microphones and two headset microphones if that suits the programme.
Ideal for Conferences and Panel Discussions
Multi-person conferences and panels are one of the strongest applications for this system.
Passing one wireless microphone between several panellists can slow down a conversation and make spontaneous discussion awkward. Giving each participant their own microphone allows the conversation to flow naturally while still providing a clear audio feed into the PA.
The same approach works well for training sessions, workshops and presentations involving several speakers. Once everybody has their own bodypack, presenters can move between speaking roles without microphones constantly being transferred or reconfigured.

Simple Connection to Your PA System
The main advantage of Audio Hire’s configuration is that the microphone system arrives as a single prewired rack.
The wireless receiver provides individual microphone channels, while the rack mixer combines those channels into a straightforward output for connection to a suitable PA system. The customer therefore does not need to connect multiple wireless channels individually to a large mixing desk simply to use the system.
Connect the rack output to your PA, set the required level and the wireless microphone system becomes part of the existing sound system.
If you do not already have suitable speakers, Audio Hire can supply a complete Sound System Hire Adelaide package or Speaker Hire Adelaide to accompany the microphone system.
Budget-Friendly Multi-Channel Wireless
This is a practical budget-friendly multi-channel wireless system for functions where simplicity and value are the priority. Professional-grade wireless microphone options are also available for applications requiring higher-end performance, reliability or production standards.
That makes this system particularly useful for conferences, training, presentations and events where several presenters need hands-free microphones without the cost of a premium wireless system for every channel.
What Is Included?
Your hire includes the prewired rack containing the multi-channel wireless receiver and line mixer, the selected number of rechargeable bodypack transmitters, and the corresponding lapel or headset microphones.
The rack is prepared before collection so the internal microphone routing is already in place. Suitable connection cabling for the rack output is included for the booked configuration, and additional XLR cables, power extensions or cable covers can be added where the venue requires them.
Add a PA System
This wireless microphone rack can be hired on its own for customers who already have a suitable PA system, venue sound system or mixing setup.
Alternatively, Audio Hire can provide the complete solution. Add professional speakers through PA Hire Adelaide, have the complete system delivered and configured through Sound System Setup Adelaide, or add a sound technician where somebody needs to manage microphone levels throughout the programme.
For corporate events, presentations and larger business functions, the system can also form part of a complete Corporate AV Hire Adelaide solution.
Which Package Should You Choose?
Choose the package according to the maximum number of people who need their own wireless microphone at the same time.
Two microphones are ideal for interviews, two-person presentations and smaller training sessions. Four microphones provide more flexibility for small panels and multi-presenter programmes. Eight microphones are designed for larger panels, conferences, workshops, performances and productions where giving each participant their own microphone makes the programme easier to run.
If you are not sure how many microphones your programme requires, tell us how many people will be speaking and how the session will run. Audio Hire can help determine whether the 2, 4 or 8 microphone configuration is the most appropriate.
